What a find! Keep up the great work! :)
I used to love to read magazine stories of the trips and adventures snowboarders, photographers and industry icons would take. Now hearing a bit more background to those adventures is super neat. I am so glad and thankful that you are doing this and can not wait to hear what comes next!

Dude! Thanks for all you do. I dig hearing more about you and your path, alongside your guests rad storyline(s). I grew up on Mt hood. So its F n RAD to hear you and your guests give high praises to the NW! Haven’t yet but always scheming to venture out and ride Whistler. My wife and I are awaiting our daughters arrival here in the next few days (our first). So We’re watching the snow reports and I’m wondering if I’ll get some turns in this year. Weird times, but thankful for health and family. We hope you and your family are doin well dude. Again, thanks .. keep charging 🍻🤙🏻 cheers

    The Real Boozy
Been listening for three work nights in a row. The Sean Johnson interview is one of the most in-depth talks I’ve ever heard (or read for that matter). From the Whiskey videos to the end of Stepchild, it answered about every question a fan could think of. As well as some insight into the JP Walker controversy surrounding the Video Gangs film. Please follow this up with a Walker interview! Great, great podcast, keep up the excellent work and thanks to Sean for being so open.

Giving a look into the world of snowboarding one podcast at a time.
There has been so many amazing interviews on FNRAD but I must say the most recent one with Donna Carpenter was amazing. Finally some unanswered questions were answered. I’ve always highly respected Jake and Donna and respect them even more now. 🙌❤️🙌

    Edit down some
Eric I love your podcast, you have great guests that everyone wants to hear, but I think you need to edit yourself a little. Most listeners know your story by now and want to hear what your guests have to say . I’ll start hearing a great story and then you take over the conversation. Sometimes I have to fast forward just to hear the guest . Just chop it down a little

Great podcast of snowboardings past and future!
Reminiscent of Epically Later’d, it’s really great to hear from the past and present legends in snowboarding history, old stories from back in the day, and what they’re up to now. I grew up in the 90s and early 00, and it’s great to revisiting that era, as well as hearing what’s going on currently within the sport! Really appreciate this!
  • TtoastyYyosty
    The best.
Each episode gets better and better. He does a great job of getting the og’s of the sport to on there and gets them to open up about how the sport we love was shaped. Keep it up!

    Amazing...Inspirational...Intriguing!
This podcast is the best possible podcast you can listen to. I recently started snowboarding last season. This podcast kept my headspace stoked on snowboarding. I would suggest this podcast to ANYONE that loves the sport. this podcast connects you to snowboardings roots and goes through a timeline of the sport. overall my favorite podcast of all time.

    Best snowboarder’s podcast!!
I love this podcast! The boarders and most influential people that made the industry have such rad stories to tell and Erik is such a natural in his interviews. This podcast discusses some of the best times in snowboarding in my opinion when the sport was still raw and evolving fast. The early most influential films talked about just totally bring me back to that era when snowboarding, skateboarding, and punk rock is all that mattered and youth would last forever. There are so many things I want to say but the bottom line is Erik is rad and this podcast is inspiring so many that love this sport, so thanks man and keep shredding!
  • nld1001
    Give us some chicks!
Love your show but I must say I’m disappointed that you aren’t interviewing any female riders. There’s a lot of sick chicks out there who I’m sure have a lot to say. Keep shredding!

    Great podcast 10/10
I've been listening to this podcast for quite some time, it never lets me down. Some snowboard podcasts that I've listened to can come off feeling unnatural, but this one is very pleasant and easy to listen to. Great guests and good conversations. 🤙🏻
  • JAF/Utah
    Solid cast
It keeps getting better with Eric’s humble approach. His body of snowboard history is firm and his ‘Subjekt’ matter and guests are always interesting to listen to. Keep up the great work!

    This is what snowboarding needed!
Surfing continues tell it’s story of its rise and those who were involved with its evolution. This podcast takes a page out of surfings handbook by honoring those snowboarders and their stories which are a pivotal part of the soul of the sport and the very reason it is where it is today.

    Such love
Just listened to a few podcasts in a row and honestly im here pretty overwhelemed. Snowboarding has been such an important part of my life since the late 80's. I can't say enough how great it is to hear the voices and stories from my true idols back in the day. I was lucky enough to see Jeremy Jones and Mark Fawcett ride at sugaloaf.. and hearing mark speak of those day brought back so many great memories. Then meeting John Buffery and JP from BFL and hearing more about CK and how that all came togther was magic. Thanks for all you do. Iv'e seen the sticker a few times, and I think it's about right. It WAS better when they hated us! J-dog.

    Excellent, Informative, & Entertaining
If snowboarding is your passion and it’s history is of interest to you, this is a must listen. Erik calmly interviews so many amazing people from snowboarding’s past and present. Subscribe and give it a listen. You’ll be stoked you did.
  • LunaSparks
    Good times.
I’ve enjoyed every episode of this podcast—and a couple of them more than a few times. The conversations here amount to a revealing, first-hand oral history of the sport. Good times.

    Awesome
Love this podcast !! Erik does an awesome job interviewing all the guests, and I love to hear what all the old pros I grew up watching are doing these days. Keep up the F’n rad job !!
  • a_dub07
    Jus listen
These interviews with the legends have been equal parts enjoyable and cathartic. As an aging snowboarder whose been in the industry since ‘93 its been rad to see where everyone’s ended up after all these years. Erik does a great job with drawing his guests out and taking us on a trip down memory lane referencing old video parts and magazine photos, spreads, and articles. I only started listening over the last few days but I'm on full binge mode. It’s so rad to see the list of who he’s interviewed and I cant wait to see what’s to come. Thanx for producing and hosting such an F’nRad podcast
  • hatt muff

    Top 3 podcast for sure!
I listen weekly, and am over joyed with getting to hear you talk to all my fav pros on the planet. This sport needs this and more podcasts like it to get all of us winter lovers involved in the out come of our future. I love the atmosphere the most, I feel like I’m there chatting it up with you guys and it gets me going. Thanks! Here waiting for more downloads!

Dopest Boarding Cast On The Internet
I stumbled across this while surfing the web and I have to say I am addicted now. I listened to about 7 of these in a row already and can’t wait to binge the rest of the them. The show really takes me out of the office and to a back country mountain somewhere with a foot of fresh powder. The host also seems to really get the roots of the sport which I find very educational. Check it out dudes!
  • R bud
    Awesome podcast!
Brings back a lot of memories. Great to hear what these legends of snowboarding are up to these days. Keep em coming!
  • D4NG3R
    The name says it all
It’s amazing to hear from some of the legends of snowboarding in a very informal setting. I love the stories from the men and women who helped shape snowboarding. As a snowboarder from mid-Atlantic US, I grew up on a steady diet of magazines and videos. These forms of media were great to keep me stoked over the long summers, but were always from the perspective of the filmers, writers, and photographers. It’s great to hear some first-hand stories from the riders I’ve looked up to for so many years. Thanks Erik. Please keep em coming.

By far my favorite snowboarding podcast

    My teenage heros
I stumbled upon this podcast and am so stoked to be able to listen to these great interviews. Erik has really done an amazing job to time to piece all of this obscure history together and to establish a rapport with these riders and industry pros. Erik thank you for doing this and I will share this with all my friends who Shred! Keep up the great work.

    Authentic snowboard history and insight
This is a really great podcast for true core fans of snowboarding who have an interest in the significant places and personallity in the history of the sport. Host Erik has access to seemingly every legend in the sport, and does an amazing job of "bro-ing down" and putting the guests at ease, leading the guests to reveal things they might not otherwise in more mainstream media channels. Because of its historical nature, none of the episodes are very time-sensitive, so do yourself a favor and go back and listen to all the old episodes, they'll still be just as relevant and enjoyable as when they were published. thanks for the great Pod Erik! We'll be listening!

    FNRad Snowboarding Podcast
This is an amazing podcast if you snowboarded in the 80s and 90s or care at all about its history. Interesting and informative, it brings out the personalities of the riders and industry pioneers that I only read about in magazines or saw in videos.
